Well, This is Awkward, is a small, illustrative publication, which focuses on dealing with, and avoiding, awkward situations. The book follows the main protagonist (who bears an uncanny resemblance to me) through a series of everyday situations that become painfully awkward. It charts how he regrets ever leaving the safety of his room but how he manages to overcome these embarrassing situations through comical solutions. The illustrative style used throughout the publication is flat to give a more childish and humorous tone; the content includes simple step-by-step instructional guides, quizzes, comic strips… and a hell of a lot of awkwardness.
