This project involves the design and production of a suite of strategic visual communication materials to brand, promote and launch the 2014 Bachelor of Design (Vis.Com.) Graduation Exhibition. The objective is to create a memorable and unique graduation exhibition that highlights and showcases the diverse mix of student talent, their strengths, and the points of difference of the design program at UWS. This year’s theme FinalFinal.pdf is inspired by the chronic designer habit of prolifically generating and naming working files throughout the design process—often done frenetically and/or under pressure. FinalFinal.pdf stems from this condition, denoting the driving force pushing us to constantly improve upon our work and ourselves in the studio context. Ultimately, the name highlights our process, from concept to reality, start to finish, and tells of our current position as emergent design practitioners.
