The Industrial Design Educators Network (IDEN) Journal is a niche journal targeting design educators. Issue 3 focuses on design research, and this needed to be reflected in the publication design. The resulting aesthetics mimics the old spirit duplicator printing method, referencing education, and reflecting the idea that research is a layered and gradual process.
