The word catalyst refers to a substance that assists the activation of a chemical reaction but never affects the end result. In the same manner my project aims to assist in the fusion of science and design.

Through the use of a memory game my project aims at taking the fundamental elements of the periodic table and rebranding the overall appearance to suit a more design oriented audience. Included are photographs that display each element in an ordinary setting. This illustrates how these base elements of our world are used in everyday life.
