Stuart Dent lives an utterly dull and boring life. He had no motivation to do anything at all, and because of this, his world has slowly started disappearing until nothing but greyness was left. One day he is visited by a floating magical scroll from a faraway land. The scroll’s incessant presence changes Stu, and makes him feel emotions he lost long ago, such as irritation, anger, curiosity, and desire. These emotions come back to Stu, feeling strangely familiar. What does this mean for Stu? What other adventures will this scroll bring?
