The Great Barrier Reef is threatened by huge industrial ships crossing this fragile ecosystem, by dredge spoil, toxic waste and the physical impact from tourist activities. Support the Reef is a campaign run by Sealife Aquariums which addresses this pressing environmental issue. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of the problem, sending a strong message that encourages people to take action. The campaign’s primary audience is school children, and elements include an interactive game and e-postcards that can be coloured in and sent to the political decision makers in order to help lobby for change and save the reef from extinction.
